The handlebars of a road bike contain vital technology, electronics and components to help you get the best performance from your bicycle. Likened in the cycling press to the steering wheel of a Formula 1 car, your handlebars are the widest point of your bicycle and are therefore prone to knocks and damage when not being ridden.

Our quick and easy to install Hood Covers give you peace of mind that your bicycle is protected from damage in one of the most vital areas.

For example, with a Hood Cover installed you can lean your bike against surfaces without the carbon levers getting scratched or the electronic gear change being activated. With the hood covers fitted, you can avoid bike-to-bike abrasion when, for example, packing bikes together in a forward-backward facing arrangement.

Our designers have created a one size fits all road bike Hood Cover so which ever bike you are riding, our covers will fit. We've tested them on the latest and larger SRAM Red HydroR and Shimano Dura-Ace ST-R9120 levers before perfecting the final shape.

The outer material is made from strong, hardwearing 600 denier polyester with a PVC waterproof backing providing protection against knocks and scratches, moisture as well as ultra-violet light damage to carbon.

Once you’ve used our Hood Covers they’ll be the first things you reach for when preparing to transport or store your bike.

A: This product is designed to slide over road bike hoods to prevent from damage to them when the bicycle isn’t being ridden.

Q: How does this work?
A: Technical fabrics and a universal design means a snug fitting protection cover for your road bike hoods. Secures in place with velcro.

Q: How do I use this product?
A: Open out the Hood Cover, slide over the hood and make sure the peak of the hood is all the way up and in, then pull back and down, clasping your hands around the bottom rear of the hood cover until the velcro meets and secures itself. Check and adjust if necessary.

A: Made from strong, hardwearing waterproof material, and 2.5mm closed cell inner foam, they protect the mountain bike bars and the hoods of a road bike from external damage.

A: A hard wearing, 600 Denier weight technical Polyester fabric with a waterproof PVC membrane. Providing the padding is a performance grade, closed cell foam inner that does not retain mixture or attract mildew.

A: This product uses highly resistant waterproof materials but of course any open sides or pockets may let in water in the wettest of conditions.

A: When dry, use a nail brush or hand brush to remove dust, mud and marks. For more stubborn marks use a small amount of warm, soapy water to remove stains and then leave to air dry. This product is not designed for use in washing machines or tumble dryers.
